After getting back from our early spring break trip to Tucson, we hosted Olivia’s (late) 5th Birthday party. She had so much fun and was thoroughly spoiled.
(Isaac is almost as tall as Abuelita!)
Saul’s been keeping busy on his days off, doing some home repairs. Spring usually keeps both of us busy with lawn clean up, extra cleaning, and closet organizing. I’m hoping to finally get a few painting projects tackled too.
School has been pretty laid back this month, just doing the basics. I have a Little House on the Prairie Unit planned for Elaina in April, Shark Week planned for science, and Isaac is starting a Greek unit.
It’s been so lovely out, the kids have been begging to start our walks up again, and loving the trips to the park.
Nate learned how to play the recorder at school, and begrudgingly practiced daily in the afternoons. He was very happy when the unit ended. We also got to go watch him perform a few dances that he’d learned at school. I tried to video him, but sadly my camera completely quite working. He did a really good job, even though he told us over and over again, that dancing isn’t his “thing”…
I haven’t been cooking anything new or fancy, but I have been getting a lot of offers to help in the kitchen. Well, from everyone except Nate, who tells me that cooking isn’t his “thing” either….
