Peek at our Week {April 12}
Mmmm…Banana Cream Pie.
Now that’s a perfect way to celebrate a birthday.
We got to help my dad celebrate his birthday. His favorite is Banana Cream Pie and we all gobbled it up!
Afterwards, the kids filled four lawn bags with leaves and twigs. All their own idea!
We are kind of between seasons here, and I guess it was a little chilly for our youngest son one morning. I don't know why, but this note under my door made me chuckle all day. :)
We finished up with our Zoo introduction. The kids have had a lot of fun playing with the animal selection we have.
They had a blast doing the first experiment on how camouflage works. They especially loved eating the leftovers...
We covered Adam and Eve this week in Bible. So far so good!
Olivia played really well by herself this week. She is so different from the others.
Olivia bugged me nearly every day to paint her nails. I finally got a chance to do it and added a couple of stickers to her ring fingers too. She walked around so daintily after that showing everyone her “booty-ful” nails.
I must have spent up all of my cooking energy in the mornings because this week there was a lot of good food for breakfast and a lot of leftovers and take-out for supper.
These donuts are the kids’ favorite. Can you guess why? Nothing like starting off the day with a l’il dusting of sugar, eh?
I made chocolate chip scones to bring up to Greeley. Elaina was worried that her Uncle David wouldn’t share them with her.
Isaac and Nate each had two of these meatball subs! Oink…oink..
We’re heading out of town this weekend to visit family. It’s been over a year since we’ve seen them last. It should be a really fun time!
