Peek at our Week {November 2, 2013}
We are practically drowning in leaves here.
So far there are over 10 lawn bags full of leaves, and that hasn’t even touched the massive piles that the kids have raked up.
Lucky for me, all the kids actually like raking up leaves, so I’ve been rewarding them with extra technology time.
We had a very jam-packed week of school so that we could skip Friday. The kids did Spooky School, learned about Old World Monkeys, and crammed double math in each day.
It was all worth it though for the fun they had Trick-or-Treating and being able to take Friday off.
Friday was First Day. It was pretty awesome too because we spent the day with my cousin and her adorable kids.
This is the best time of year for a bit of extra baking. I made pumpkin bread, sausage bread, and biscuits along with two kinds of soup. The kids were not too happy about the soup….
Saul is working this weekend, and I have errands to run and school planning to catch up on. Aside from that, I’ll mostly be trying NOT to steal candy from my kids.
I’m sure you can’t relate.
