Weekly Wrap-Up
We had a pretty nice week around here.
The return of routine and health is a very good thing! Saul was off on Monday and Tuesday, so school was pretty light the beginning of the week. We also took a day to work on some fun Thanksgiving stuff. So much for getting caught up on school…
We made “Thankful Turkey’s”, which proved to be a good exercise in listening skills and patience.
Did a bit of spelling with these Cornucopia Letter Tile Cards....
Some Pilgrim Hat math: multiplication for Isaac, and addition/subtraction for Nate.
Worked on a few puzzles too!
Elaina did these Thanksgiving Clothespin Cards, and used Math-Links to count with the Pilgrim hats.
She is still leaving these notes all over the house. This is some kind of schedule for her day. I can see the big T.V. in the middle and the last one is her and Olivia sleeping. The rest I can’t decipher. Any guesses?
Love the smirk on her face! Actually, she was winking at me…
Olivia is cruising right along with her potty training, though she did have a bit of a backslide early in the week. She is such a busy little girl I sometimes have a hard time keeping up with her…
She played with a lot of different toys this week including Animal Scramble….
Magtastiks….
And the Dance Cam
My cute l’il kitty has been getting pretty rowdy. He looks innocent enough, but he’s become much more interested in biting little fingers than I am comfortable with. Any advice you can give?
Saul’s been working down the huge “Honey-Do” list I have made for him, one of which is to take down these two upper cabinets in order to hang my wrought iron pot-hanger. It’s not going as easily as I had hopped it would, so here it sits…waiting for a special tool to take out stripped screws. I know….me and my big ideas….
My list got a wee bit smaller as I’ve finished painting most of the main level doors. Frustrated with how many coats of paint it was taking (and how long to finish this project), I found a special primer to use on stained doors….Ooops. Should have probably looked into that first….Hopefully the upper level doors don’t take so long .
Next week is Thanksgiving. Wow! I can’t believe how fast this year has gone by. We are hosting diner with family and friends. It should be a great time!
What are your plans for Thanksgiving?
I was soooo happy to see that Grandpa and Grandma made the 'thankful' turkey list! Miss all of you!!!
