The Week Before Christmas…

when all through the house,



the people were crying and fussing about,



with mom in her rollers, and Elaina in her hat



everyone complained about their daily nap.



When what with our sunglassed eyes should appear?



A yard full of hungry and feasting deer,




some pizza, and chocolates, a birthday cake,



a platter of pancakes that everyone ate.



We finished up school





and started to craft,



and discovered how Duck looks while wearing a hat.



We learned Jesus’ names and what they all mean




and brushed our teeth ‘til they sparkled and gleamed.



A boy was caught sneaking and got into trouble,



we finally found Thomas (and even his double).



Watched a few movies, read lots of books,



finished Christmas shopping and found some new looks.



We colored, and gamed, and played with our toys,



and wondered if snowmen were girls or boys.
