We finally hosted a garage sale and cleared out the rest of the “baby” and toddler toys. It felt really great to clean out so much stuff we no longer needed. The girls ran a lemonade stand the first day, and sold coffee the next day. They were seriously adorable too
The girls went on their camping trip with their grandparents. The house was really quiet without them around! I missed them so much, but kept myself busy with my 14er and the recovery that followed.
Isaac helped out a bunch after my climb. He was so worried about me and offered to rub my back or help cook dinner. He’s incredibly thoughtful and helpful - it makes me so proud!
I’ve set out to go on as many long walks and hikes as I can before it gets too cold out. My best luck with convincing the girls to go on yet another hike, is the promise of an ice cream cone afterwards.
(Olivia’s collection of rocks from the hikes we take. We find deposits of them all over the house…)

I’ve been in such a cooking rut. I really need some fresh inspiration for my menus. If you have any good recipes, send them my way. Please.
