This post ended up being so long that I had to break it into two parts!
This year:
went to a Birthday Tea Party….

Try not to freak out, like I did when the boys brought it IN my house…
*WARNING*
Learned how absolutely hysterical mom gets if you bring a snake into the house…
got a beautiful set of Red Wine glasses from Aunt Patty…(Thank You Patty!
)
bowled in the dark…
and in the alley too…
hung out with friends…
told Mom we were NOT tired so we didn’t have to nap…
had a lot of stay-at-home Date Nights…ate 64 batches of popcorn…
got writing advice from a cat named Duck…
had a staycation for vacation…
got yelled at by the Ranger for going off the path and nearly falling into the waterfall (Isaac and Nate)…
learned how to make Chinese fortune tellers…
occupied our outdoor time in creative and interesting ways…
got 6 inches cut off our hair (Olivia)…
went to Minnesota…on my first trip away from kids EVER…spent time with my Dad, my Aunts, Uncle, and Cousins…said goodbye to my Grandpa B….
hung out with the bestest and cutest “Cousin Friend” Gia…
fed giraffes….
started a new adventure in Public School…
learned how fun it was to homeschool two easy going girls….
fell in love with Mo Willems…
and started MineCraft mania…
got brave enough to draw all by ourselves….
and brave enough to to try other new things…like student council…
got to hang out with Uncle Cody a lot….
got to swim at the ocean….or Lake Pueblo…whatever…
played soccer in our best party dress…because mom said it was ok…
giggled about Amelia Bedelia….
did a lot of crafting…’cause of all the free time
…
payed $0.25 for every bag of leaves raked up…best $8.25 spent ever….
celebrated Nathaniel turning 10!
Said goodbye to Uncle Cody….and cried for two days afterwards…shhhh…don’t tell him…
had fun at Trunk-or-Treat…
learned how to ignore our Dad…
how to play sweetly together…most of the time…
how to fold origami…
and what our bones look like….
Took off the training wheels…and then the bike broke
…
drove everyone crazy by driving around the Turtle Taxi…
played 16 games of UNO with Grandpa John…and won every time…
made really really yummy Pumpkin Pie…
had to walk to school in the snow…uphill…both ways…
made paper ornaments…
took out 320 bags of trash…emptied the dishwasher 284 times…
celebrated when Elaina turned 8!
went to Disney on Ice…
celebrated Olivia turning 5!
and had a very magical wonderful blessed Christmas!

Love your 2014 pictures! How did you keep up & know all the number? And, that's A LOT of leaves! So glad I was able to be a part of your year! I'm blessed to know you.
