Posh Princess Preschool {E is for Elephant}
This has been Olivia's favorite week so far!
She fell in love with the little toy elephant I set out for her, and affectionately named him Alfie. I ended up making her a set of printables for fun after seeing how attached she had gotten to her little elephant. (See below for a link to print your own set.)
We are still using and loving a modified workbox system for her set-up. Here's a look at what she did:
DAY 1
Word Whammer
Letter Ee Handwriting Page (COAH)
Letter Hunt Page and Dough Stamper
Play-dough page
Purplinker, Write and Wipe Flashcards
Animal ABC Flash Cards, My First BOB books - Alphabet, A-Z Books, Follow-the-dots stamps
DAY 2
Nesting Animal Blocks, Magnetic Animal Puzzle (no-link), Pairs in Pears.
Plastic Elephant
DAY 3
If I Were An Elephant Tag Jr., Magnetic Wand and Magnetic Field Wonder Window, Zimbos
DAY 4
My First Pattern Blocks
Elmo Dr. Kit
I don’t normally do a sensory bin for each week, but she was really upset that I put away her Dinosaur Dig. So I told her I would make her a new one. It’s just colored rice (see here for tutorial), misc. tools, small koosh balls, and a tiny plastic elephant.
She played with it several times, but the novelty had worn off by the end of the week.
The kids played the game Horton Hears a Who with grandma. They also watched the movie. At the end of the week Olivia made an elephant puppet, which she named…Alfie. Of course!
