Since the boys have started their Solar System Unit, and Elaina was doing her Astronaut Unit, it seemed only fair for the baby to be included in her very own Outer Space themed Tot School.
Really though, she’ll (usually) go along with whatever I set out for her.
She stacked “planets” with our Melissa and Doug Bead Sequencing Set.
And watched her "planets" revolve and rotate….
She traced lines from the rocket to the moon (Astronaut Preschool Pack)…
And we both sang a fun song about 5 Little Astronauts. (Spell Outloud)
She colored rockets…
And her fingers!
After she saw her sis playing this shadow matching game, she had to play her own version of it. I’d point to the card and say what it was, she’d point to it too and say, “this one!”
She carried around the space books we checked out from the library.
She played with more “planets” these magnetic counting chips, and put them into shot glasses. I tried to show her how to sort them by color, but she was absolutely uninterested!
She loved the Moon Sensory Bin and would cry, “My moon!” when it was time to put it away because she wouldn’t stop eating the cloud dough.
I set out these cute star crayons the kids and I made last summer, for her to color with.
But she was much more interested in stacking them….
And smelling them….
She did so some coloring though with the markers. They are her new favorite thing.
She spent a lot of time building Aliens with our bristle block set.
She even had a puppet show for us: Smooching Aliens!

I love all the space activities you did this week--especially the moon sensory bin! Visiting from 1+1+1=1's tot school.

But the cloud dough looks yummy mom! It looks like she had a fun week.
